Jack the Red is the pro­tag­o­nist of a series of sto­ries ded­i­cat­ed to the human body as a place to be dis­cov­ered through fun. Adven­tures in which the anthro­po­mor­phized parts of the body come to life, become char­ac­ters and involve read­ers in sur­pris­ing sto­ries, fol­low­ing a point of view that is not pure­ly sci­en­tif­ic but nonethe­less doc­u­ment­ed.
